 Introduction 

    My chosen topic for my brochure is going to focus around the importance of food banks and volunteering. I choose this topic because I have done many fundraisers and volunteering through the food bank near my house and it has made a huge impact on my life. I am extremely grateful to be able to have food on my table everyday and some people are not as fortunate. I believe it is imperative that people volunteer and help out, not for personal gain but just to help. Especially with the devastating outcomes from the pandemic.

What I learned 

    When working on this project I learned how to utilize tint and different fonts. This project was also able to teach me what colors look good and how color schemes really do affect a lot. It was very easy to work with InDesign based on the video posted for our class. I think the hardest part about this assignment was matching the colors correctly to the picture. I will say I do not like working with yellow but it was very prominent in my picture so I decided to give it a chance. 

    The readings were able to teach me more on contrast. I knew the basics but it was very insightful reading just how much contrast and value difference matter in a picture. It was important to learn that I can use grayscale to really check if my contrast is good or bad.
