Meme this!

Introduction  I decided to do my meme project on a re-creation of the "We want you" poster from Uncle Sam. I choose a picture of Kevin Hart and put him against the HPU background. I wanted to create a meme that had something to do with HPU because they always try so hard to get students to come here. What is better than a fake celebrity endorsement!  I was able to follow along with the recording from our class to complete this assignment. It was extremely fun to isolate Kevin Hart using the selection and lasso tool (Kabili, 2017). Additionally, adding a mask and learning to convert him into a smart object was useful. I cannot wait to add the words and add an adjustment layer to possibly change the color of Kevin Hart's sweater.  Screenshot  Meme

Adjusted Profile Picture I start my blog by showing the original image, adjusted image, and screenshot of my work. This is a picture from my senior year and I feel it could possibly be used for a profile picture because it was done professionally.  Original Image  Final Image  Screenshot  What I learned  I learned how to work with masks and adjustment layers throughout this assignment. This was an extremely fun way to change certain things in my image. Working with adobe adjustment layers allows me to make nondestructive changes to the colors and tones of my picture without permanently changing the pixels ("Adobe, How to Use an Image Adjustment Layer"). I love this picture, but wanted to change the color of my pants and the background. I was able to color everything black that I didn't want to change in hue/saturation and then change the color to purple. Additionally, I was able to add a black and white background to my photo.
